A mighty three hour set featuring 29 songs from the New Jersey legendary rocker and shows no signs of being 67 years of age. The Boss walked out onto the stage and told the crowd “We stand before you as embarrassed Americans.”, followed with “This is a song from 1965 by The Orlons. We’re going to use this to send a letter back home.” before launching into a special cover of ‘Don’t Hang Up’ in light of the recent Turnbull/Trump telephone saga.
There was a massive singalong for ‘Hungry Heart’, Bruce did not even sing the first verse and instead high fived fans and chugged a beer. ‘The River’ was one of my highlights, along with ‘Born To Run’ and ‘Dancing In The Dark’ within the encore set. Bruce always gives back to the fans and even brought on a few on stage to have a dance.
The night finished with a blast…literally with fireworks. Overall, a must see on anyone’s list! Even if it’s to check out his bum wiggle!
