From start to finish Nick Cave and his Bad Seeds put on a memorable gig. He begun the night sitting for opener ‘Anthrocene’, but following into ‘Jesus Alone’ he swiftly took charge of the crowd like a cult leader. ‘Girl in Amber’ featured a duet, with a pre-recorded segment on the giant screen and was beautiful.

The Bad Seeds did not miss a beat the whole night. ‘Jubilee Street’ was an early highlight, as was the big singalong to ‘Into My Arms’ and ‘The Weeping Song’ brought along energy into the closing encore set
